Who we are
Aster Home Care is a community care provider run by nurses, for nurses. We support clients in their own homes across Queensland and Northern NSW, and our team comes first.
About the role
This isn't commercial cleaning. You'll visit the same clients regularly and get to know them, providing high-quality cleaning along with a friendly face and a chat. You'll:
- Do general housekeeping: vacuuming, mopping, dusting, kitchens and thorough bathroom cleans
- Help with laundry: changing beds, washing, hanging out and folding
- Help with light meal prep and dishes when needed
- Follow infection control and protected work practices
- Let us know about any changes you notice in a client's health or wellbeing
What we offer
- Permanent part-time work with guaranteed weekly hours, paid annual leave and sick leave
- Paid travel time between clients, plus $1.00/km when you use your own car

You'll need
- 2+ years of experience in residential cleaning or domestic care
- An open QLD driver's licence and a reliable, fully insured car
- A National Police Certificate issued within the last 3 months
- A smartphone, and to be comfortable using rostering and time-logging apps
- The physical ability to bend, kneel, lift light equipment and stand for long periods (we may ask you to do a pre-employment functional assessment)
Bonus if you have
- A Certificate III in Cleaning Operations (CPP30321) or in Individual Support
- Infection control training
- A current First Aid and CPR certificate
