We're looking for an experienced Underground Workshop Leading Hand to head up our maintenance team, keep the fleet working hard and build a workplace people are proud to be part of.

The job

- Lead and support the workshop team, setting priorities and keeping jobs moving each shift
- Plan and allocate maintenance work so equipment is ready when production needs it
- Use Pronto to keep work orders,



maintenance records and parts up to date
- Jump on the tools when the team needs a hand
- Supervise high-risk tasks underground and keep the workshop safe and tidy
- Coach and mentor the team and create a positive workplace where people do their best work
- Spot problems early and come up with practical fixes

What you need

- Heavy Diesel trade qualification (Australian recognised)
- Underground mining experience is essential, including underground mobile equipment maintenance
- 2+ years' leading hand or supervisory experience in an underground environment
- Pronto Xi experience
- Current S26 certification
- Current manual driver's licence
- Unrestricted Australian working rights
- Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
- Willingness to obtain or provide a current National Police Clearance
- Sharp fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- A safety-minded, positive team player who thinks outside the box and wants to see Westfill succeed
