About Dash
Dash Access & Inclusion Services is a registered NDIS provider delivering person-centred disability supports across South Eastern Melbourne.
About the roles
We have ongoing shifts with participants in the following areas:
- Lilydale: Monday to Friday, daytime shifts between 9am and 3pm
- Mooroolbark: Tuesday and Thursday, midday and early afternoon shifts
- Camberwell: Wednesday evenings (6:30–9:30pm), Fridays (8:30am–5pm) and Saturdays (12–6pm)
Shifts will be matched to your location, and you’ll work with the same participants each week, so you can build strong, consistent relationships.
About you
- Experience supporting people with behaviours of concern
- Experience supporting children, including children with ADHD
- Reliable, emotionally mature, and genuinely passionate about making a difference in people’s lives
- Excellent spoken English and robust communication skills
- Flexibility to work a variety of day, evening, overnight and weekend shifts
- Current Australian driver’s licence, with a registered and insured vehicle
- Willing to travel to support participants across different locations
- Sound computer literacy and ability to maintain professional documentation
- Experience in disability, aged care, mental health, community care or a related field
- Satisfactory Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- First Aid Certificate (HLTAID002/HLTAID003) or willingness to obtain
- Mobile phone with internet access
Essential requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check (Victoria)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or Disability (preferred)
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct, individualised care and support in line with each participant’s service plan
- Support participants to access community activities, outings and appointments
- Provide personal care and assist with daily living needs where required
- Support participants with behaviours of concern and mental health needs using a calm, professional approach
- Monitor and report on participant health, wellbeing and safety
- Maintain clear communication with the team, families and other professionals involved in a participant’s care
- Complete accurate documentation (progress notes, incident reports, communication books)
- Follow all WHS, privacy and confidentiality policies and procedures
