The Venue

Set over three levels, Jacksons on George will feature a modern, sophisticated public bar on the ground floor, a classic bistro on level 1 and a sun-drenched rooftop and cocktail bar. At Jacksons, we’re creating an innovative, exciting destination where the food and drinks will be simple and elegant, the service will be traditional and the atmosphere will be unforgettable. This new-generation pub and flagship Sydney venue will deliver a consistently activated series of spaces, with unique offerings that evolve throughout the day, providing a remarkable dining and drinking cultural journey. Jacksons will bring together contemporary, cutting-edge music, art, food and beverage, fashion and architecture.

The Position

At Jacksons we are looking to build on our bar team, with multiple positions available for bartenders and bar backs. This will be an opportunity to work alongside some of Sydney’s most exceptional hospitality talent. This will be an iconic and busy venue and previous experience in high-end and fast-paced cocktail or other service environments will be regarded highly. However, all training can be provided for the right candidates with a growth and development mindset and a genuine passion for the hospitality industry.

The Skills Required

1. Excellent communication skills and a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
2. A genuine interest in food and a flair for creating memorable dining experiences.
3.



In-depth knowledge of global and local drink trends to craft innovative and enticing beverages.
4. Ability to work seamlessly within a team, contributing positively to a collaborative environment.
5. Strong adaptability, capable of taking direction, and equally confident in working autonomously.
6. A sense of accountability, taking ownership of your workspace and the guest experience.
7. Able to execute cocktails and mixed drinks at a high level
8. Strong classic and contemporary cocktail knowledge
9. Current RSA card/ Certificate
10. Full availability on weekends and evenings
