Summary:

The Childcare role is essential in fostering a safe, nurturing, and educational workplace for children. This position plays a crucial part in supporting the developmental needs of children, ensuring their well-being while promoting learning through play and structured activities. As a key member of our educational team, you will contribute to the holistic development of each child, preparing them for future educational experiences.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Support children’s emotional and social development through positive interactions.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and well-being.
- Maintain a clean and organised environment that is conducive to learning.




- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience.
- Observe and assess children’s development, documenting progress and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

- A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (e.g., Certificate III or Diploma).
- Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices.
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- A valid Working with Children Check.
