A well-established Darwin-based construction company is seeking an experienced Accountant or Senior Accountant to join its finance team. This is a hands-on role supporting the financial operations of multiple entities and project-based activities across the business.

Your new role

Reporting to senior management, you will take ownership of day-to-day accounting functions while providing accurate reporting and financial insights to support business performance.

Key responsibilities include:

- Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Bank reconciliations across multiple entities
- Month-end and year-end processing
- Cash flow reporting and retention reconciliations
- Debtor and creditor management
- BAS preparation and support with ATO lodgements
- WIP reporting for construction projects
- Liaising with external accountants, auditors, banks and insurers




- Financial reporting and analysis for management

What you'll need to succeed

- Previous experience as an Accountant or Senior Accountant
- Strong reconciliation and reporting skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Proficient with accounting systems and Excel]
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
