Family Law Solicitor – 3–4 Days | Work From Home & Genuine Flexibility

Wilding & Co Lawyers is looking for an experienced Family Law Solicitor with at least 3 years’ post-admission experience to join our growing practice for 3 to 4 days per week.
/n
This is a genuinely flexible, predominantly work-from-home position.
/n
We recognise that talented lawyers don’t necessarily want — or aren’t always able — to structure their lives around traditional 9am–5pm office hours. You might need to pick up children from school, start earlier, finish later, or structure your working day around other commitments.

That’s fine with us.
/n
What matters is that clients are looked after, deadlines are met, files are managed properly and high-quality legal work is delivered.
The Role /n
You will manage your own family law caseload, including:
/n
/n
- parenting matters
/n
- property settlements
/n
- consent orders
/n
- child support and spousal maintenance
/n
- mediation and dispute resolution
/n
- court proceedings
/n
/n
You will have substantial autonomy over your files, backed by administrative support and the resources of the broader firm.
/n
We want someone who is interested in taking ownership of their practice and helping us continue to grow our family law offering.
Genuine Flexibility /n
We mean it when we say flexible.
/n
The role can be structured around 3 or 4 days per week , and we are open to discussing how those hours are worked.
/n
There is no expectation that you need to be sitting in an office during traditional core office hours simply for the sake of being there.
/n
Need to do the school run? No problem.
/n
Want to start early, take time out during the afternoon and finish some work later? That’s something we can accommodate.
/n
Prefer to work predominantly from home? That’s how we’ve designed the role.
/n
There will naturally be occasions when clients, court commitments or the needs of a particular matter dictate when or where work needs to be done. Subject to that, we want you to have genuine control over how you structure your working week.
About You /n
We’re looking for someone who:
/n
/n
- has at least 3 years’ post-admission experience
/n
- has solid family law experience
/n
- can confidently manage their own files
/n
- produces high-quality written work
/n
- communicates well with clients, other solicitors and counsel
/n
- is commercially aware and comfortable with billing and file management
/n
- can work independently and take responsibility for deadlines
/n
- values autonomy and flexibility
/n
/n
We are less concerned about fitting a particular mould and more interested in finding a talented family lawyer who is good at what they do.
