We are seeking an experienced Test Lead with significant Appian testing experience to lead testing delivery for an enterprise workflow solution within a Queensland Government setting.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of testing across a complex Appian-based platform, leading manual and automated testing while strengthening testing governance, standards and processes to support quality delivery and production readiness.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead testing across an enterprise workflow solution built on Appian, covering system, integration, regression and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, test cases and testing processes aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Establish and improve testing governance, standards and quality assurance practices.
- Coordinate manual and automated testing, manage defects and assess release readiness.
- Work closely with developers, architects, business analysts and business stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure solutions are fit for production.
- Lead and mentor testers, driving consistency and continuous improvement across testing activities.





To be considered for this role you will need the following:

- 5–10+ years of software testing experience, including senior-level testing leadership.
- Significant experience testing Appian or comparable enterprise workflow platforms, with Appian highly regarded.
- Strong experience across manual and automated testing, including system, integration, regression and UAT.
- Experience developing test strategies, comprehensive test cases and automated testing approaches.
- A track record of developing or improving testing governance, standards and processes.
- Strong knowledge of Jira, Confluence and Xray.
- The ability to lead testing activities and provide confidence in solution quality and production readiness.

Relevant Test Management qualifications will be highly regarded.

- Duration: ASAP to 30 June 2027 + 2 x 6 month extension options
