About the Appointment

Joining an experienced and passionate executive leadership team, the Chief Financial Officer will play a key role in strengthening and scaling the organisation’s financial, governance and organisational capability to enable continued growth, effective operations and the delivery of strategic objectives.

As the organisation transitions towards a product development and delivery model, you will play a key role in managing change as the business adapts and scales. This will include uplifting risk and finance cultures, while reviewing existing financial models and processes to ensure accuracy, reliability and scalability.





Overview of your responsibilities:

- Financial strategy and capital planning, including financial modelling

- Cash flow and financial risk

- Governance, enterprise risk and controls

- Budgeting, forecasting and performance

- People leadership

- Statutory reporting, tax and regulatory compliance

- Board administration and company secretary

- Policy management

- Continuous improvement & scalability

About You

As an experienced Chief Financial Officer, you will champion agile thinking and collaboration, demonstrate natural proactivity, challenge ideas and encourage adaptability. You will have previous experience in a start-up setting, scaling organisations or transitioning business models.

For this appointment, strong financial modelling skills and experience with grants are required, while company secretary experience is highly desirable. An approachable leadership style is essential, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels of the organisation and with external stakeholders.
