About Chermside Day Hospital

Chermside Day Hospital features specialised, purpose-built facilities, high quality equipment, and is self-sufficient. Facilities include state-of-the-art operating theatres and procedure rooms, a spacious Post Anaesthesia Care (Recovery) Unit, comfortable Second Stage recovery room and well-appointed consulting suites. The hospital also features a self-contained sterilizing department and endoscope processing service.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in the area of recovery to join us on a permanent full-time basis.

To be successful in your application for this position, you will have:

- At least 3-5 years clinical experience in recovery/day surgery

- Exceptional clinical skills

- Knowledge of and adherence to safe work practices

- The ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team

- An enthusiastic approach in the delivery of a high standard of nursing care

Essential criteria

- Current AHPRA nursing registration

- Recovery experience essential
