������ Position Details
- Position: Pedagogy & Curriculum Leader
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5 days per week
- Region: South East Queensland, with a particular focus on North Brisbane through to the Glass House Mountains
- Hours: Up to 38 hours per week, with flexibility
- Head Office: Shailer Park, with regular Head Office meetings required
- Salary: Competitive salary package, well above award rates
- Tools Provided: Company vehicle for work-related travel, phone and laptop

✨ About the Role
Inspire. Mentor. Lead. Make a Difference.
As our Pedagogy & Curriculum Leader, you'll play an important role in strengthening educational practice and supporting continuous improvement across QCCS.
Working closely with our Centre Educational Leaders, you'll provide guidance, coaching and practical support to help teams deliver engaging, meaningful and high-quality learning experiences for children.
This is a hands-on, relationship-focused position where your ability to connect with educators, inspire confidence and encourage professional growth will be essential.
You'll regularly visit services across South East Queensland, particularly centres from North Brisbane through to the Glass House Mountains, while also attending meetings at our Head Office in Shailer Park.
Your knowledge, enthusiasm and leadership will help empower educators, strengthen curriculum and create positive outcomes for children across our organisation.
������ Key Responsibilities
In this rewarding and varied role, you will:
- Support Centre Excellence: Conduct regular scheduled centre visits, supporting adherence to QCCS policies, practices and processes while promoting continuous improvement.
- Champion Quality Practice: Observe and assess educator interactions and educational practice to support alignment with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standard (NQS) and sector best practice.
- Inspire & Mentor Leaders: Coach, mentor and develop Educational Leaders to strengthen their confidence, capability and leadership.
- Strengthen Educational Programs: Support the development and implementation of engaging, meaningful and high-quality educational programs.
- Review & Reflect: Review educational programs, documentation and practices to ensure quality, relevance and compliance.
- Encourage Collaboration: Facilitate monthly Educational Leader Networking Meetings, encouraging professional discussion, shared learning and collaboration.
- Drive Professional Development: Identify professional development needs and design, write and deliver targeted training to strengthen educator knowledge and practice.
- Support Assessment & Rating: Provide practical, hands-on support throughout the Assessment and Rating process, helping services feel prepared, knowledgeable and confident.
- Promote Continuous Improvement: Build a strong culture of reflection, professional growth and excellence in educational practice.
������ About You – A Leader Who Inspires Others!
We're looking for an experienced Early Childhood professional who knows what outstanding educational practice looks like and, most importantly, knows how to inspire others to achieve it!
You're approachable, confident and passionate about mentoring educators. You understand the importance of building solid relationships, encouraging reflective practice and empowering teams to continually grow and improve.
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- A strong understanding of the National Quality Standard (NQS), EYLF and Assessment and Rating process.
- Proven, hands-on experience contributing to or achieving an Exceeding NQS rating within an Early Childhood service.
- A minimum of three years' leadership experience as an Educational Leader, Centre Director or in a comparable leadership position.
- A completed Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher qualification.
- A current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
- Strong communication, coaching and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to motivate, mentor and positively influence teams.
- A genuine passion for children's learning, development, health and wellbeing.
- Reliability, initiative and a strong work ethic.
- A positive attitude, a sense of humour and a genuine growth mindset.
