Excavator & Dozer Operators
Are you an experienced Excavator or Dozer Operator looking for your next FIFO role? We are seeking motivated and reliable operators to join our team working across exploration and resource definition projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for operators who enjoy working independently, take pride in their work, and have experience delivering high-quality earthworks in remote environments.
About the Role
You will be operating a range of machinery including:
- Excavators from 12T to 60T
- Dozers from D6 to D10
- CAT equipment experience is preferred, including CAT D9 Dozers and CAT 336 Excavators, however experience on equivalent machines from other manufacturers is highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
- Constructing drill pads and access tracks for exploration and resource definition programs
- Bulk and detailed earthworks
- Operating machinery safely and efficiently in remote locations
- Conducting daily pre-start inspections and machine care
- Working independently with minimal supervision
About You
To be successful, you will have:
- Proven experience operating excavators and/or dozers in a civil, mining, exploration, or earthmoving environment
- Experience constructing drill pads and exploration tracks highly regarded
- Ability to work independently and remain productive without direct supervision
- Strong safety focus and attention to detail
- Current driver's licence
- National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
Desirable Skills
- Experience with GPS machine guidance systems such as Trimble, Guide EX, or similar
- Previous exploration, resource definition, or remote earthworks experience
- Experience operating both excavators and dozers
