Natural Floors is seeking a highly skilled and experienced carpet installer to join our Adelaide team. We specialise in premium natural floorcoverings and undertake high-quality residential and commercial installations throughout Adelaide and surrounding areas. This is not a trainee or entry-level position. The successful applicant must have substantial existing experience installing natural fibre floorcoverings, including sisal, jute, wool and seagrass, and must already possess the skills and experience required to independently install natural floorcoverings to a high qualified standard.
Key responsibilities
- Installing sisal, jute, wool and seagrass floorcoverings
- Wall-to-wall carpet installations
- Installing natural fibre floorcoverings on staircases
- Wall-to-wall staircase installations
- Stair runner installations in sisal, jute, wool and seagrass
- Measuring, cutting, joining, fitting and finishing floorcoverings
- Undertaking detailed and technically demanding installation work
- Preparing installation areas as required
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and presentation
- Working carefully within clients' homes and commercial premises
About you
- Professional carpet installation experience
- Demonstrated experience installing sisal, jute, wool and seagrass
- Demonstrated experience installing these natural fibres on staircases in both wall-to-wall and runner form
- Highly skilled in cutting, joining, fitting and finishing natural floorcoverings
- Capable of completing technically detailed installation work to a high standard
- Produce consistently high-quality workmanship
- Punctual, reliable and well organised
- Professional and presentable when dealing with clients
- Take pride in work and demonstrate strong attention to detail
