ABOUT THE ROLE
As the HSE Advsior, you will work closely with the project and site leadership teams to ensure a safe, compliant and proactive working workplace.
You'll be responsible for:
- Providing practical HSE advice and support across site operations
- Conducting site inspections, audits and safety observations
- Identifying hazards and implementing effective risk controls
- Supporting incident investigations and corrective actions
- Facilitating toolbox meetings, pre-starts and safety initiatives
- Maintaining WHS documentation, registers and reporting
- Supporting risk assessments, SWMS and JHAs
- Monitoring compliance with WHS legislation, policies and project requirements
- Promoting a positive safety culture across the workforce
- Working closely with supervisors, managers and workers to drive continuous improvement
We're looking for a proactive HSE professional who isn't afraid to get out on site, build relationships and have a genuine influence on safety performance.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience within civil construction, mining or infrastructure
- Relevant HSE qualifications
- Strong knowledge of WA HSE legislation and construction safety requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to safety
- Current Australian work rights
