What if you could enjoy working in Occupational Rehabilitation without constantly feeling the pressure of increasing caseloads and billable targets?
We're working with an established Occupational Rehabilitation provider in Brisbane that understands experienced consultants do their best work when they're given the time, flexibility and independence to manage their clients properly.
Rather than juggling 30–40 active files, you'll manage a caseload of approximately 20–25, allowing you to focus on meaningful client interactions, building relationships with stakeholders and achieving sustainable return-to-work outcomes.
You won't have someone constantly checking where you are or how you're spending your day. Instead, you'll be trusted to manage your own diary, make decisions about your caseload and organise your working week around your appointments and commitments.
The company has developed a working environment that balances genuine autonomy with accessible support, offering competitive salaries, achievable bonus opportunities and clear pathways for career progression.
If you're an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist or Rehabilitation Counsellor looking for a change across Brisbane, this could be an opportunity worth exploring.
Why This Role Stands Out
- $80,000–$120,000 + Super depending on experience, with opportunities to increase your earnings through performance bonuses.
- Manageable caseload of 20–25 files, allowing you to spend more time supporting clients and less time feeling overwhelmed by competing demands.
- Hybrid working arrangements – enjoy a combination of working from home, office-based work and community appointments across Brisbane.
- Monthly AND quarterly bonuses recognising your performance and contribution to the business.
- $2,000 annual CPD allowance to support further training, career development and areas of interest.
- Birthday leave – enjoy an additional day off without using your annual leave.
- Laptop, mobile phone and access to a pool vehicle provided.
- Flexible diary management – organise your appointments and working day without unnecessary supervision or micromanagement.
- Experienced leadership and mentoring available when you need guidance, particularly with more complex cases.
- Genuine career progression into Senior Rehabilitation Consultant, Team Leader or Account Management opportunities.
- Join a company investing in innovative technology and practical solutions to improve rehabilitation outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of approximately 20–25 active rehabilitation files.
- Completing initial rehabilitation assessments, workplace assessments and functional assessments.
- Developing suitable duties programs and tailored return-to-work plans.
- Coordinating rehabilitation strategies to support safe and sustainable employment outcomes.
- Attending Medical Case Conferences and communicating with treating practitioners.
- Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, insurers and other healthcare professionals.
- Identifying barriers to recovery and developing practical strategies to support return-to-work goals.
- Managing documentation, reporting requirements, timeframes and billing in accordance with Queensland workers' compensation requirements.
