The Role: Fulltime position Available.

We are seeking a trade qualified Welder/Fabricator with a desire to run their own race. You will be working in our Rocklea based manufacturing facility, predominantly on our Dirty Possum Mountain bike racks and componentry . You will be responsible for the whole process.

You will have input in design, cut, drill, mill and assemble the products ready for sale.

You will also have the opportunity to work with CNC machinery if the desire and skill is shown.

Experience/Skills:

- Minimum 2+ years post trade workshop experience in a welding fabricator role

- Experience in light fabrication





- Good solid fabrication & welding experience in a workshop environment

- Mark off/out structural fabrications & shapes

- Assemble fabricated components

- Interpret technical drawing (assembly & sub-assembly process)

- A robust commitment to safety

Mandatory Skills & Knowledge:

- Formal trade qualification - Boilermaker or Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication Trade)

- Relevant welding & industry standards

- Reading and interpreting plans and specifications

- Fabrication techniques and processes

- Interpret work orders and production schedules to determine product or job instructions/specifications

- Lean manufacturing (preferred)
