Our client is an established Sydney CBD workplace law boutique, in practice for more than a decade and led by partners from national firms. They act for universities, blue chip businesses, private sector employers and government departments, with a particular strength in workplace investigations.

They are looking for employment lawyers from 2+ PAE through to Senior Associate and Special Counsel level.

Salary range and Features of the role:

• $100K to $180K + super, set by experience and level
• Partners and leaders with national firm backgrounds
• Excellent flexibility, with work from home and office arrangements
• A strong client mix across tertiary, blue chip, private sector and government

About the role

Private practice employment law, with a specialty in workplace investigations.
• Conduct workplace investigations for a range of clients
• Advise employers on employment and workplace relations matters
• Act for tertiary, blue chip, private sector and government clients
• Prepare investigation reports, advices and correspondence
• At Senior Associate level and above, run matters independently and supervise junior lawyers

What you'll bring

• At least 2 years' post-admission experience
• At 2 to 4 PAE: a sharp mind and a robust record from a reputable firm, with employment experience welcome but not essential
• At Senior Associate to Special Counsel level: specific experience in employment law and workplace investigations
• An interest in workplace investigations
• Clear, careful written and analytical skills
• A current Australian practising certificate
