The chance
In this role you will need to:
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism
- Maintain your technical knowledge, including:
- Investment products and managers
- Superannuation contributions and strategies
- Centrelink / Aged care
- Insurance products
You will have the opportunity to:
- Work with a quality client base, including some of Tasmania's most successful individuals and family groups, with diverse investment portfolios
- Develop a deep understanding of clients’ objectives by working closely with Synectic’s accounting and business services professionals
- Be trusted to build relationships with clients

Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist Financial Advisers to develop high-quality strategies to support clients
- Maintain an accurate client database (using a CRM)
- Prepare Statement of Advice (SoA) and Record of Advice (RoA) documents
- Undertake data modelling and scenario comparisons to support strategic recommendations
- Prepare and lodge insurance quotes and applications
- Prepare client review documents
- Communicate and follow up with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with preparing quarterly and annual client reports
- End of Financial Year compliance tasks for internal and external clients
- Assist our senior Client Services Administrators as required

Desirable:
- Experience in the Financial Planning industry
- Experience with Xplan/ Compass or similar software is desirable, but not essential
- A diploma, advanced diploma or a degree in Paraplanning, Financial Planning or other relevant degree that complements the position
