About the role

Redstone Recruitment Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated Medical Doctor to join our telehealth team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality medical services to patients remotely from our Sydney, NSW, location. As a Telehealth Medical Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering accessible healthcare solutions whilst maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence. What you'll be doing

- Conducting remote clinical consultations with patients via secure telehealth platforms

- Assessing patient medical histories and presenting complaints through virtual consultations

- Providing accurate diagnoses and developing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs

- Prescribing medications where appropriate and monitoring patient progress through follow-up consultations

- Maintaining detailed and accurate medical records and clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements

- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care

- Adhering to telehealth protocols and best practices to ensure patient safety and confidentiality

- Managing patient queries and concerns professionally and compassionately

- Staying current with medical developments and maintaining skilled competency in your specialist field

What we're looking for





- Current registration with the Australian Medical Board or relevant medical registration authority

- Postgraduate qualifications or certification in your medical specialty

- Proven experience working as a Medical Specialist in an Australian healthcare setting

- Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in your chosen medical specialty

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients remotely

- Proficiency with digital platforms and telehealth technology

- Comprehensive understanding of telehealth regulations, privacy legislation and compliance requirements in Australia

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple patient consultations efficiently

- A commitment to career development and continuous learning

- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is desirable

- Previous telehealth or remote consultation experience is advantageous
