About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator to join our wonderful team on a full-time basis, with the option to work from home 2 days a week after a successful probation period. Reporting to the Accountant, this role works closely with the finance team. This role plays an significant part in ensuring our accounts payable function runs smoothly and serves as a backup for some Payroll tasks when required.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable function, ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and paid on time.

- Setting up new suppliers and maintaining supplier records in accordance with company policy.

- Perform month end Accounts payable module closure including running reports, reconciliation and prepare expenditure accrual.

- Supplier account reconciliation.





- Provide information to internal auditors and external auditors when required.

- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice, payment and purchase order queries.

- Reconciliation of withholding tax for New Zealand.

- Back up for various administration functions – accounts receivable, payroll, general accounting duties, as when required. (Training will be provided).

- Other project work as and administrative tasks as requested.

About you

Have a positive approach and attitude with a passion for continuous improvement and a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position and:

- Experience in handling multi currencies and foreign exchange.

- Demonstrated experience in accounting software Accounts Payable processing.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel and good reconciliation skills.

- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative as well as work as a member of a team.

- High level of data entry skill with speed and accuracy.

- Well-developed communication, interpersonal, negotiation skills.

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Exceptional attention to detail.

- Organised and self- motivated with effective time management skills and adaptability to maintain work output during times of pressure and tight deadlines.

- Flexible, adaptable and willing to learn new systems and skills and take on new tasks.
