Position Type: Fixed-Term Full-Time until January 2027, potential for extension (9 day fortnight, 36.25 hours/week)

Salary Range: LGO4 ($86,720 - $ 92,954 per annum + superannuation) based on skills, qualifications and experience

Location: Townsville

About the Role:

As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you'll play a key role in attracting and securing great talent to deliver services for the Townsville community. Working closely with hiring managers across Council, you'll provide end-to-end recruitment support, partnering with stakeholders to deliver efficient, customer-focused recruitment outcomes while building solid and trusted relationships.

This is a varied and fast-paced role where you'll provide expert advice on recruitment best practice, support campaign strategy, shortlisting, interviewing, reference checking and onboarding activities. You'll also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, deliver recruitment training and help shape a positive, outcomes-focused recruitment experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Experience delivering end-to-end recruitment services
- Strong stakeholder management and customer service skills
- Sound knowledge of employment legislation and industrial instruments
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience mentoring,



guiding or coordinating others
- Proficiency using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications
- A Certificate IV in Human Resources (or equivalent experience)
- A current C Class Driver Licence

* The Council contribution to employees' superannuation for contributing employees shall be 13.5% of the employees' ordinary time earnings subject to the employee contributing a minimum of 6% of their ordinary time earnings.
