About the role

Southern Sheet & Coil is seeking a Branch Manager to lead our operations at our Wacol branch.

Reporting directly to the Group General Manager (based in NSW), this role is responsible for overseeing a relatively small team. It will be ideal for someone who is comfortable being hands-on and involved in the day-to-day operation as well as sales and business development. We’re looking for someone who can grow the branch by identifying and bringing on recent customers, developing existing customer relationships and actively pursuing new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

- Lead and manage a team of office and warehouse staff.

- Develop and execute strategies to retain existing customers and attract new business.

- Oversee sales and marketing initiatives to grow the branch’s presence in the market.

- Manage branch financial performance, including P&L; accountability.

- Ensure protected, efficient, and compliant warehousing and operational practices.

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in a management / sales role within a distribution, manufacturing, or industrial environment.

- Knowledge of the steel and sheet and coil industry (preferred).

- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team while driving performance.

- Strong communication, presentation,



and time management skills.

- Well-developed selling & negotiation abilities.
