This is a Detailer/Retail Assistant position at Jayco Mount Gambier. You will be responsible for preparing display vans for sale, detailing vehicles, assisting in the retail shop, and maintaining the dealership and yard area.
Key responsibilities
- Unlock all display vans, check internals for presentation, clean and present unit for sale
- Wash display vans as and when required
- Fully detail (inside and outside) current and used vans ready for sale
- Assist in the retail shop as required including stock management and parts sales
- Communicate with customers directly, via email and phone or other electronic means
- Undertake computer entries relevant to the job role
- General cleaning and maintenance within the dealership and yard area
- Work unsupervised
- Follow reasonable instructions from management
- Report workplace near misses, incidents, injuries and building structural damage to your manager
About you
- Possess and hold a current driver's license
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a safe manner and abide by company WHS policies and procedures
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Only perform tasks that you have been trained in or have the required skills and approval from your manager
- Be prepared to undertake further training in the operation of the business and Jayco specific requirements
