Traditional Funerals operate funeral homes, chapels, offices and mortuary facilities across The City of Moreton Bay. We’re looking for caring people in multiple roles to join our team.
Experience is not required, although highly desired. To assist you learn the skills you need to deliver an excellent standard of funeral service, our team will guide you through your training from day one.
As our team member you’ll spend time supporting families during difficult times. Your tasks will vary on a daily basis with no two days being the same. Working as part of a close-knit team, you’ll help to ensure we provide a seamless, sensitive service to our clients. We welcome applications from people who are new to the industry, and those with funeral experience.

About the role:
● An excellent standard of grooming and personal presentation is required.
● Be able to multi task and have the ability to adapt and work in a changeable
workplace.
● Someone who is service driven.
● Be able to participate in an on call after hours roster
● Be at ease with death, the expression of grief and handling deceased people.
● Full unrestricted driver's license.
This role would suit people who have:

● The ability to take instructions and follow them to the letter, with high attention to detail
● The ability to react calmly and compassionately in emotional circumstances
● An open mind when it comes to working around and in contact with the
deceased. To maintain and adhere to privacy and mortuary standards.
● The ability to perform the physical aspects of the role (manual lifting)
