All Energy Contracting
Perth
Our Australian and New Zealand operations are growing fast, bringing together great businesses including All Energy Contracting (AEC), Bam Bam, Pilecom and Volta under one group.
All Energy Contracting (AEC) is a leading multidisciplinary construction contractor specialising in renewables and energy infrastructure projects.
We deliver projects across solar, wind, battery energy storage systems (BESS), high voltage connections, substations, balance of plant and associated civil, electrical and mechanical works.
About the Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our team delivering the Solomon Airport Solar Hub, a 440MW project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Once complete, it will be WA’s largest solar development, with around 671,000 solar panels installed across the build and construction due for completion in 2028.
And this is just the start. Beyond this project, there are plenty of opportunities on the horizon, both in Western Australia and across Australia and New Zealand, as our pipeline continues to grow.
This is a FIFO, site-based role on a 2:1 roster. You’ll be based at one of the best camps in the Pilbara, complete with ensuite rooms, a gym and recreation facilities.
Key responsibilities
- Be the link between design and site, interpreting drawings and specifications so works are built to design across civil, mechanical and electrical packages.
- Coordinate subcontractors and interfaces on site, including piling, tracker installation and electrical works, keeping sequencing and progress on track.
- Develop and manage ITPs and quality records, ensuring work meets design, client and regulatory requirements.
- Manage RFIs, permits and drawing registers, working with design consultants,
the client and third parties to close out technical issues quickly.
- Track progress, materials and productivity against programme and budget, supporting the Project Manager with planning, procurement, resourcing, progress claims and variations.
- Lead by example on safety, contributing to audits, inspections and continuous improvement in a remote site environment.
What You’ll Bring
- Relevant qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Experience in a site-based project engineering role on renewable energy, infrastructure or civil projects, ideally solar.
- Solid knowledge of WHS legislation and safe work practices.
- Confident communication with site teams, subcontractors, designers and clients.
- Australian driver’s licence, White Card and working rights.
- Comfortable working FIFO on a 2:1 roster.
- Experience on remote or Pilbara-based projects advantageous.
What We Offer
- Be part of something bigger: join an international group operating across the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
- Grow with us: be part of AEC’s expanding presence in Western Australia and across Australia and Current Zealand, backed by a strong and growing pipeline of work.
- Work on industry leading projects: contribute to some of Australia and New Zealand’s largest renewable energy and power infrastructure projects.
- Learn from the best: benefit from the combined knowledge, experience and capabilities of specialist businesses across the OCU Group.
- Be part of the energy transition: work in an industry that is helping build a cleaner, more sustainable energy future.
