We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Crew Leader to lead our on-farm poultry operations across Southeast Queensland. About the Role

As a Crew Leader, you’ll be responsible for leading a small team of poultry workers at farm sites. You’ll ensure the job is done safely, efficiently, and in line with animal welfare and biosecurity standards. This is a hands-on role — you’ll be working alongside your crew, setting the pace, and making sure every job is done right driving a crew truck & all terrain forklift on farm.

Your day-to-day will include:





- Lead and supervise a poultry catching crew, ensuring protected, productive, and productive operations.

- Coordinate daily crew activities to meet scheduled catch times and production targets.

- Transport crew, equipment, and forklifts to and from farms as required.

- Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and ensure all vehicles and equipment are well maintained.

- Complete pre-start inspections, logbooks, timesheets, and other required documentation.

- Manage loading areas, conduct quality checks, and maintain site safety standards.

- Liaise with supervisors, site managers, and growers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

- Ensuring animal welfare and hygiene standards are met

What You’ll Need

- MR driver’s licence (required)

- Forklift licence (required)

- Proven experience leading a team in a hands-on role (agriculture, logistics, or similar)

- Strong communication and organisational skills

- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work

- A proactive, safety-first mindset

- Willingness to comply with PPE, hygiene, and biosecurity protocols

(Note: You must not keep live poultry, avian species, or pigs at your residence)
