Your Impact
As Executive Assistant to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the CEO's office operates effectively, and the Board is well supported. Combining high-level executive assistance with Board and committee coordination, you will help drive organisational efficiency and support effective decision-making.
The Role
Reporting to the CEO, key responsibilities include:
- Managing a complex CEO diary, correspondence, travel and meeting preparation.
- Coordinating Board and committee meetings, including agendas, papers, minutes and action registers.
- Managing the OnBoard portal, Board calendars, governance records and circular resolutions.
- Preparing executive briefs, reports and presentations.
- Coordinating confidential Board and CEO recruitment processes, including interviews.
- Liaising with Board Directors, committee chairs, senior leaders and external stakeholders.
The Organisation
Sydney North Health Network (SNHN) works on behalf of the Commonwealth to strengthen primary healthcare and improve health outcomes, partnering with healthcare providers, government and community organisations to help people receive the right care, in the right place, at the right time.
What You Bring
You are an accomplished Executive Assistant with demonstrated experience supporting a CEO, ideally in a complex organisation where discretion, judgement and the ability to anticipate needs are essential.
You will bring:
- Proven experience managing a CEO's diary, priorities and executive commitments.
- Strong Board or committee meeting coordination and documentation skills.
- Exceptional organisation, communication and attention to detail.
- Confidence managing sensitive information and competing priorities.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and the ability to learn recent systems.
Board secretariat experience, familiarity with corporate governance and OnBoard, and experience in a not-for-profit or government-funded organisation will be advantageous. You don't need to have owned the governance function, but you must be comfortable supporting Board processes and senior stakeholders.
