About the role

Vasili's Table is a busy Greek restaurant by the beach focused on great food, great hospitality and creating an atmosphere where guests feel like part of the family. Following recognition as South Australia's Best New Restaurant, we are recruiting for multiple positions: 2IC – Front of House, Head Chef, Bartender, and Servers / Front of House.

Key responsibilities & Positions

2IC – Front of House

- Supporting the day-to-day running of the venue

- Leading and supporting the FOH team during service

- Opening and closing the venue

- Maintaining high standards of customer service

- Assisting with staff training and development

- Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues

- Supporting management with general venue operations

- Night & Weekend work

Head Chef

- Leading and managing the kitchen team

- Maintaining food quality, presentation and consistency

- Managing prep and service

- Rostering and managing kitchen labour

- Stock control, ordering and supplier management

- Food safety and kitchen compliance

- Training and developing kitchen staff

- Working closely with management on menu development and kitchen performance

- Night & Weekend work

Bartender

- Preparing cocktails, spirits, wine and other beverages

- Providing friendly and knowledgeable service

- Maintaining a clean and organised bar

- Restocking and assisting with stock control

- Working efficiently during busy services

- Providing recommendations to guests

- Night & Weekend work

Servers / Front of House

- Taking orders and providing table service

- Using POS and ordering systems

- Running food and drinks





- Providing menu recommendations

- Setting and clearing tables

- Maintaining presentation and cleanliness throughout the venue

- Creating a welcoming experience for every guest

- Night & Weekend work

About you

2IC – Front of House

- Previous supervisory, team leader or management experience in a busy hospitality venue is highly regarded

- Reliable and punctual

- Confident working in a busy environment

- Friendly and professional

- Strong communicators and team players

- Passionate about hospitality

- Available across a mixture of weekdays, evenings and weekends

- Committed to delivering a consistently high standard

- Relevant RSA certification required

Head Chef

- Previous experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef or senior kitchen leader is essential

- Reliable and punctual

- Confident working in a busy environment

- Friendly and professional

- Strong communicators and team players

- Passionate about hospitality

- Available across a mixture of weekdays, evenings and weekends

- Committed to delivering a consistently high standard

Bartender

- Cocktail, wine and general bar knowledge is highly regarded

- Reliable and punctual

- Confident working in a busy environment





- Friendly and professional

- Committed to delivering a consistently high standard

- Relevant RSA certification required

Servers / Front of House

- Previous hospitality experience is preferred, although attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are equally important

- Confident working in a busy environment

- Friendly and professional

- Passionate about hospitality
