About the Role

As an Orthotic Technician, you’ll be involved in the hands-on production of custom foot orthotics, working with specialised equipment and materials to create high-quality devices that support patient care.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Operating a CAD/CAM milling machine to manufacture orthotic devices.

- Finishing and refining orthotics using a grinder.

- Gluing, cutting and fitting covers to orthotic devices.

- Following manufacturing processes to ensure quality and accuracy.

- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workspace.

- Learning new techniques and developing your skills in orthotic manufacturing.

This is a practical, hands-on role that involves manual work and spending time on your feet. Attention to detail,



a willingness to learn and pride in producing quality work are essential.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, motivated and ready to develop their skills in a specialised field.

You’ll ideally have:

- A strong eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

- Good manual dexterity and confidence working with your hands.

- A positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for learning.

- The ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.

- Good organisational skills and a reliable approach to work.

Experience with grinding tools or similar equipment is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided to the right candidate.

Previous experience in manufacturing, trades, production or other hands-on roles may be beneficial, but we’re particularly interested in finding someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
