Are you an experienced OSHC Coordinator ready to take the next step?
We’re looking for an ambitious, flexible and people-focused Area Coordinator (Mobile) to join our Gladstone team. This is more than a relief role - it’s an prospect to work across the region, influence program quality, support service leaders and build the experience needed for your next step into Regional Management.
The Mobile Coordinator role is designed to provide operational leadership across multiple services, support educational program delivery, strengthen compliance and provide leadership coverage when Coordinators are away.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
No two weeks will look the same!
You'll work across our Gladstone region to:
- Support Coordinators and service teams when they need an extra set of hands.
- Assist with ISS and program planning, helping services strengthen their educational practice and outcomes.
- Pilot new programs and initiatives across the Gladstone region.
- Step into Coordinator positions when team members are on leave, ensuring children and families experience consistent, high-quality care.
- Take on an extended Coordinator placement when a service requires longer-term leadership coverage.
- Coach, mentor and support Coordinators, Assistant Coordinators and Educators.
- Visit services, identify opportunities and help drive quality, compliance and continuous improvement.
- Help build workforce capability, succession planning and future leaders.
- Work closely with the Regional Manager on projects and initiatives across the region.

The Mobile Coordinator position gives you exposure to multiple services, different teams, operational decision-making, regional projects, coaching and leadership, while still being connected to service delivery.
It's designed as a step up from Coordinator and a pathway toward Regional Manager. You'll be supported to grow your leadership capability while being exposed to the bigger picture of regional operations.
⏰ WHAT DOES THE WORKING WEEK LOOK LIKE?
Service-Based Hours
Monday–Friday
? 6:00am–9:30am
? 1:54pm–6:00pm
Your week will move between services depending on where support is needed.
? Future Planning
You'll also work 5 x 8:00am–4:00pm days each term to focus on:
- Future program planning
- Regional initiatives
- Pilot programs
- Service improvement
- ISS/program planning
- Leadership development
HHQ Days will rotate: 6:00am–2:00pm or 10:00am–6:00pm
Alternating days as required.

Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
You are a confident and adaptable leader who enjoys supporting teams and creating meaningful experiences for children.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience leading teams in OSHC, childcare, education, or a similar environment
- National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A current and valid Working with Children Check
- A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel between services
- Availability to work split shifts Monday to Friday
- Australian work rights
- A passion for creating safe, inclusive, and engaging environments for children
- QLD 2 Year Qualified - Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 2 Year Qualified Educator in QLD in accordance with ACECQA
