ABOUT THE ROLE

Backam Group is currently seeking an experienced Liquid Blender / Compounder for an ongoing role based in Huntingwood, NSW.
This position is within an established food ingredients manufacturing environment, working hands-on with liquid ingredients, batching products, blending formulations, and supporting daily production activities.
We are looking for candidates with previous experience in blending, batching, compounding, food production, or manufacturing environments who are comfortable following recipes, formulations, and production specifications.

⏰ Hours: Monday - Friday | 7:00am - 3:30pm
? Pay Rate: $34.50 per hour casual
? Start: ASAP

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Batching, blending, and compounding liquid food ingredients
- Weighing and measuring raw ingredients accurately
- Mixing products to recipes and production specifications
- Preparing ingredients for production runs
- Following batch sheets and manufacturing instructions
- Completing production and batch documentation
- Manual handling of ingredients and materials




- Cleaning blending equipment and production areas
- Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
- Supporting production teams as required

ABOUT YOU

You are reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working within a manufacturing environment where quality and accuracy are important.
To be considered, you will have:
✅ Previous high attention to detail warehouse experience
✅ Manufacturing or food production experience
✅ Strong attention to detail
✅ Ability to follow recipes, formulations, and procedures accurately
✅ Comfortable performing manual handling duties - must be able to lift up to 25kg
✅ Reliable transport and strong attendance record
✅ Commitment to workplace safety and hygiene standards

Highly Regarded

- GMP experience
- HACCP knowledge
- Food ingredients manufacturing experience
- Experience working with powders, additives, flavours, or liquid products
- LF Forklift Licence
