About the Role

As a Support Coordinator with Stronger Ground, you'll provide psychosocial support to people experiencing complex mental health challenges across the Perth metropolitan area.

Working alongside Peer Recovery Workers, Support Workers and external service providers, you'll help people achieve their goals, strengthen their wellbeing and connect with the services and communities that support their recovery.

Key responsibilities include:

- Coordinating and delivering person-centred recovery support
- Developing recovery plans aligned with client goals
- Advocating for clients and connecting them with relevant services




- Building strong relationships with clients, families and stakeholders
- Supporting positive mental health, social inclusion and quality of life outcomes

This outreach-based role requires regular travel across the Perth metropolitan area to meet clients in community settings and a collaborative, person-centred approach to supporting people with complex needs.

The role is a full-time, 12-month Maximum-Term Contract, working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, generally between 8:00am and 5:00pm, with occasional weekend and public holiday work by arrangement.

What we’re looking for

The successful applicant will be required to meet the following criteria:

- A qualification in community services, mental health, social work or a related discipline, or equivalent experience and/or lived experience in the sector
- Experience building effective relationships with people who have varying levels of need
- The ability to work independently and contribute positively to a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Emotional maturity, resilience and sound judgement
- Competency using Microsoft Office and client reporting systems
- A commitment to Ruah's values and trauma-informed practice
- Knowledge and understanding of diversity, inclusion and Aboriginal culture

Required Compliance Documents:

- Current drivers’ licence
- Working with Children Check
- National Police Certificate
- International Criminal Check, if applicable




- Current First Aid Certificate

What we offer

- A salary aligned with Level 4 of the Ruah Enterprise Agreement (and the SCHADS Award), commencing at $92,286.48 + Super
