Warrnambool City Council is seeking an exceptional leader to take on the role of Service Manager Library and Learning Centre and help shape the future of one of our community’s most valued services.
Located in the heart of Warrnambool, our state of the art, award winning Library and Learning Centre is much more than a place to access books and information. It is a vibrant community hub where people come together to learn, connect, participate, create and belong.
As Service Manager, you will lead the strategic direction and day to day delivery of this important community service, ensuring it continues to respond to the changing needs and aspirations of our community.
Reporting to the Manager Recreation & Culture, you will provide strategic leadership across the Library and Learning Centre, leading a passionate team and working collaboratively across Council and with community partners.

About you
We are looking for an accomplished strategic service manager and community focused leader who understands the importance of excellent public facing services and is passionate about the difference they can make in people's lives.
You will be an experienced leader who can set a clear strategic direction, inspire a team and turn ideas into meaningful outcomes. You will be equally comfortable considering the future direction of a service and ensuring the operational foundations are in place to deliver an exceptional customer experience today.
The Benefits
This is a permanent full time position which carries a current starting salary of $105,206 per annum, exclusive of superannuation.
