Harry’s Complete Gardens Design & Care Pty Ltd is a skilled gardening and landscaping business based on the Central Coast NSW. We specialise in garden maintenance, horticultural care, planting, garden improvements and landscape design.

We take pride in providing high-quality garden care, focusing on plant health, attention to detail and maintaining beautiful, healthy gardens for our clients.

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and experienced gardener to join our growing team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on position involving a wide variety of garden maintenance tasks across residential properties on the Central Coast.

We are ideally looking for someone with practical gardening experience, good horticultural knowledge and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

The successful applicant will be involved in:

Plant Care

- Identifying and removing dead, diseased or damaged plant material.

- Fertilising and improving plant health.

- Identifying and managing common pests and diseases.

- Understanding soil conditions and plant requirements.

- General plant maintenance and seasonal care.

Pruning & Hedging

- Pruning shrubs, hedges and ornamental plants.

- Maintaining plant shape, health and appearance.

- Using appropriate horticultural pruning techniques.

- Operating hedge trimmers, secateurs and other pruning equipment.

Lawn Maintenance

- Lawn mowing, whipper snipping and edging.

- Lawn fertilising and weed control.

- General lawn improvement and seasonal maintenance.

Weed Control & Soil Care

- Hand weeding garden beds.

- Applying herbicides safely where appropriate and authorised.

- Mulching garden beds to improve soil health and reduce weeds.

- Soil improvement and fertiliser application.

- Maintaining healthy garden beds.

General Garden Maintenance

- Leaf blowing and general garden clean-ups.

- Green waste collection and disposal.

- Planting trees, shrubs and groundcovers.

- Spreading mulch and soil.

- Assisting with garden renovations and improvements.

- Basic landscape construction,



including garden edging and raised garden beds.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

- Has previous experience in professional garden maintenance or horticulture.

- Has a good understanding of plants and gardening techniques.

- Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work.

- Can work efficiently without compromising quality.

- Is physically fit and comfortable working outdoors.

- Can work independently and as part of a team.

- Has good attention to detail.

- Can confidently operate common gardening equipment.

- Has a current Australian driver's licence.

- Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Qualifications

Certificate III in Horticulture or a related qualification is preferred but not essential.

Applicants with strong practical experience are encouraged to apply.

Additional qualifications such as ChemCert, chainsaw training or other horticultural certifications would be an advantage.

Hours & Pay

- Casual position offering 0–36 hours per week, depending on workload and seasonal demand.

- Generally Monday to Thursday, with occasional Friday work during the growing season.

- $27–$40 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

- Opportunity for ongoing regular work as the business continues to grow.

- Work across a variety of residential gardens and landscaping projects on the Central Coast.
