Working closely with solicitors and administrative team, you will assist with the day-to-day management and progression of debt recovery matters.

Key responsibilities

- Preparing letters of demand and court documents
- Assisting with claims, default judgments and enforcement proceedings
- Preparing affidavits and arranging execution and filing
- Communicating with clients, owners, courts and external service agents
- Monitoring payment arrangements and following up missed payments
- Maintaining accurate matter records, tasks and deadlines
- Preparing invoices and client updates
- Reviewing files and identifying the next required action
- Supporting solicitors to progress matters efficiently

About you

- At least two years of previous paralegal or legal administration experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Organised and able to manage competing priorities
- Takes initiative and attempts to identify solutions independently
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment




- Follows procedures while using sound judgment
- Works well as part of a connected and supportive team
- Experience in debt recovery, litigation, strata law or court processes highly regarded but not essential
