As a rapidly growing and agile company, we are seeking an Apprentice Maintenance Fitter to join our team at the Braeside production site.
This vital role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of our manufacturing equipment and machinery.Key Responsibilities:Assisting with mechanical fitting and maintenance tasksConduct regular equipment checks and preventative maintenance such as oiling to ensure minimum levels of machinery down time.Interpret technical diagrams and schematics for troubleshooting and repair.Prioritise and manage daily maintenance tasks and respond to internal work orders.Develop, implement,



and update the Preventative Maintenance Program.Safely carry out manual handling duties.Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and quality standards across all maintenance activities.About You2nd or 3rd year apprentice preferred1st year apprentices welcome to applyStrong interest in mechanical fitting and machineryBasic machining skills preferredBasic welding skills a bonusReliable, motivated, and eager to learnComfortable with hands-on, physical workFlexibility to work rotating shiftsRequirements:Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.Physically fit and able to work in wide-ranging settings, including warm and freezer areas, and perform tasks involving standing, lifting, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.Applicants must be able to work in Australia without any ongoing work restrictions.Please note only short-listed candidates will be contacted.We look forward to hearing from you!
