BX Bunka Australia Pty Ltd is made up of the market leading residential brands Steel-Line Garage Doors, Energetic Door Service, Doorworks and commercial and industrial brands Arco (Qld) Pty Ltd, Retrotech Door Services Pty Ltd, Max Door Solutions and Sprint Roller Shutters.We are currently looking for a Workplace Health & Safety/Rehabilitation Officer to join our Head Office team, reporting to the WHS Manager.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the floor, working alongside operations, and playing a key role in strengthening safety culture across a diverse, quick-paced business.About the RoleThis is not a desk-based compliance role.You'll be working closely with leaders, supervisors and teams across manufacturing, warehousing and installation environments to:Drive practical safety improvementsSupport leaders to take ownership of safetyContribute to the rollout of our national WHS strategyWhat You'll Be DoingPartner with leaders to build and embed a strong,



positive safety cultureConduct incident investigations and identify practical, effective controlsReview and improve Safe Work Procedures to ensure they reflect real work practicesSupport risk assessments, audits and site inspectionsAssist with injury management and return to work processesMonitor training and competency complianceSupport contractor management and consultation processesContribute to continuous improvement of WHS systems and practicesOccasional interstate travel may be requiredWhat We're Looking ForExperience in WHS within manufacturing, warehousing, construction or similar high-risk settings 4years+Solid communication skills with the ability to engage frontline workers and leadersPractical, solutions-focused approach to safetyAbility to build relationships and influence positive changeGood organisational skills and attention to detailQualifications:Cert IV in Work Health & Safety (essential)Return to Work Coordinator (desirable)Fire Safety Advisor (desirable)Why Join BX BunkaBe part of a growing national businessPlay a key role in shaping and improving safety systemsWork across a diverse range of operations and environmentsJoin a team focused on building a strong, people-first safety culture
