Trade Electrical is seeking an experienced Trade Counter Salesperson to join our growing electrical wholesale business.This is a hands-on role across trade counter sales, customer service, quoting, order processing and warehouse support.
It would suit someone with electrical wholesale experience who understands electrical products, enjoys helping customers and takes pride in keeping orders and daily operations running smoothly.As Trade Electrical continues to grow, you will have the opportunity to contribute ideas, identify customer and product opportunities, help grow our sales and brand, and have a genuine impact on how the business develops.About the RoleYour responsibilities will include:Serving trade counter customers and responding to telephone and email enquiriesProviding product advice and recommending suitable alternativesPreparing quotes and processing customer ordersBuilding strong relationships with electrical contractors and trade customersIdentifying customer, product and sales opportunitiesProviding feedback on customer demand and potential stock requirementsPicking and packing stockReceiving and putting away deliveriesMaintaining an organised warehouse and trade counterLiaising with customers,
suppliers and internal teamsAssisting with local deliveries when requiredContributing ideas to improve customer service and day-to-day operationsA genuine interest in helping grow sales, strengthen customer relationships and build the Trade Electrical brandAbout YouThe successful applicant will ideally have:Previous experience in an electrical wholesaler or similar trade-supply workplace — essentialStrong electrical product knowledgeExperience in trade counter sales, quoting and order processingGood communication and customer-service skillsStrong attention to detail and organisationA proactive approach and willingness to identify opportunitiesThe ability to work independently and as part of a small teamA forklift licence, or willingness to obtain one, preferred but not essentialWhat We OfferThe prospect to help grow and shape Trade ElectricalVisibility of relevant sales and margin performanceDirect access to business decision-makersA diverse, hands-on role within a friendly small teamMonday-to-Friday hours, generally 9:00 am to 5:00 pmStable, ongoing employment
