Workhorse Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join a busy fabrication workshop manufacturing custom sheet metal components and industrial products.
This is a great temp to perm opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for secure, long-term work with a thriving manufacturer.
The role offers plenty of variety across fabrication, welding, fitting and assembly, with most of the work based in the workshop.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Either MIG or TIG welding on stainless steel, mild steel and aluminiumLight fabricationGeneral fitting, assembly and repair workOperating press brakes,
guillotines and power toolsReading and interpreting technical drawings and sketchesCompleting quality checks on finished productsOccasional site installation and repair work as requiredMaintaining a safe, clean and organised workshop
ABOUT YOU
Fabrication Trade QualificationMinimum 2 years of sheet metal fabrication experienceStrong MIG or TIG welding skillsExperience working with stainless steel, mild steel and aluminiumAbility to read and interpret technical drawingsExperience operating workshop production machineryWhite CardCurrent Driver LicenceForklift Licence preferred but not essentialStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityA robust focus on workplace health and safetyAbility to work both independently and as part of a team
