About the Employer Our client is an established engineering, construction and operations business delivering transport, building, water and other infrastructure works across Australia.
Its multidisciplinary teams support the development and operation of assets used by local communities.
The Opportunity Administer subcontracts and commercial controls on a regional rail project.
This permanent full time role is site based on a 2:1 roster and includes an advertised project allowance.
Your Work • Assess payment claims, variations and extension-of-time submissions.
• Prepare scopes and tender packages and manage subcontract procurement and negotiations.
• Maintain registers, cost controls, forecasts and commercial reporting.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and compliance and identify risks promptly.
• Support progress claims and project administration with engineering and procurement teams.
Requirements Skills, Education and Requirements • Experience in contracts, procurement or commercial project support.
• Two to three years in construction or heavy industry and exposure to complex rail or infrastructure projects.




• Solid understanding of subcontract terms, cost control and project reporting.
• Effective data processing and Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint skills.
• Attention to detail, communication and ability to meet competing deadlines.
• Availability for DIDO or relocation within an hour of Cootamundra/Stockinbingal and a 2:1 roster.
