Your new role
Working within a high-performing project team, you will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of a major construction project from early works through to completion and handover.You will play a key role in coordinating technical, commercial and construction activities while ensuring safety, quality, programme and budget objectives are achieved.Responsibilities will include:

- Managing and coordinating day-to-day construction activities
- Providing technical support to site and project teams
- Managing RFIs, design coordination and consultant engagement
- Reviewing and managing shop drawings and technical submissions
- Assisting with procurement and subcontractor appointments
- Monitoring construction programmes and identifying potential risks
- Undertaking project reporting, forecasting and progress tracking
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and key stakeholders
- Driving quality assurance and defect management processes




- Ensuring compliance with WHS, environmental and project requirements
- Supporting cost control and commercial management activities
- Contributing to project planning and construction methodology development
- Assisting in achieving practical completion and successful project handover

What you'll need to succeed

- The ideal candidate will possess:
- A tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline
- 3+ years' experience as a Project Engineer within the building construction sector
- Experience working on large-scale commercial, residential, mixed-use, health or education projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and project delivery principles
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple project interfaces
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Strong organisational and problem-solving capabilities
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
