Join a Dynamic Team as an Accounts Payable Officer Located South of the River

A large and established organisation is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join its Finance team on a six-month contract. This role will play a key part in supporting day-to-day Accounts Payable operations while the organisation undertakes a significant transition to a new financial management system. With a strong focus on maintaining business continuity throughout the implementation, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a major transformation project while working within a collaborative and supportive finance team.
Your new role
• Process end to end Accounts Payable transactions in a timely and accurate manner, using TechOne • Review, code and process invoices in accordance with organisational procedures
• Manage supplier accounts and respond to payment-related enquiries
• Assist with payment runs, reconciliations and general finance administration
• Maintain accurate financial records and support data integrity across finance systems
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
• Support the implementation of a new financial management system and associated process improvements
• Contribute to a team-oriented and supportive finance team environment

What you'll need to succeed




• Demonstrated end to end Accounts Payable experience• Previous experience working within a finance or accounting team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Experience using TechOne
• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proactive approach with a willingness to support colleagues and team objectives
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Positive attitude and strong team focus
