An excellent opportunity is available for a Senior Technical Business Analyst to contribute to strategic data, technology and digital initiatives within a complex, regulated environment. You will translate business needs into practical technical solutions while supporting the delivery and ongoing operation of enterprise data and analytics capabilities.
Your new role
Working closely with business stakeholders, technical specialists, project teams, vendors and delivery partners, you will:

- Elicit, analyse and document complex business, functional and data requirements.

- Develop data dictionaries, metadata, data lineage and data asset documentation.

- Analyse source systems, datasets and data flows.

- Produce source-to-target mappings and document business transformation rules.

- Define data-quality rules, validation criteria and acceptance measures.

- Coordinate data validation, reconciliation, testing and business-acceptance activities.

- Investigate data-quality issues and support root-cause analysis and remediation.

- Facilitate workshops, interviews and stakeholder consultation sessions.

- Translate complex technical and data concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.

- Support the onboarding and operational readiness of new data assets, platforms and services.





- Ensure data initiatives align with relevant security, privacy, governance and legislative obligations.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered, you will have:

- Solid experience as a Business Analyst delivering data, analytics, integration, technology or digital-transformation initiatives.

- Demonstrated experience gathering and managing complex business, functional and data requirements.

- Experience working with enterprise data environments, technology platforms, cloud solutions or system integrations.

- Strong analytical, documentation and problem-solving capabilities.

- Experience supporting testing, reconciliation, validation, quality assurance and business acceptance.

- Proven ability to facilitate workshops and build productive relationships across business and technical teams.

- An understanding of data governance, information management, privacy and security principles.

Experience within government, healthcare or another highly regulated environment will be highly regarded. Agile, Scrum, BABOK, CBAP or similar business analysis qualifications are also desirable.
