Project Coordinator (Electrical) opportunity within a rapidly growing critical infrastructure business.

An industry-leading provider of critical power and electrical infrastructure solutions is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator (Electrical) to join their growing Sydney team.With a strong presence across data centres, telecommunications, utilities, renewable energy and critical infrastructure sectors, the business delivers complex projects involving UPS systems, battery storage, rectifiers, inverters, power distribution and mission-critical electrical infrastructure.
Due to ongoing growth and a strong project pipeline, an opportunity has arisen for a technically minded Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of electrical engineering and infrastructure projects across Australia.
Your current role
Reporting to the Project Management team, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of electrical infrastructure projects from project award through to commissioning and handover.
Key responsibilities will include:
Coordinate project activities, schedules and delivery milestones
Support project planning, procurement and resource allocation
Liaise with internal engineering, service and operations teams
Coordinate contractors, suppliers and project stakeholders
Review project documentation, drawings and technical specifications
Assist with estimating, quotations and project costing activities
Monitor project progress and maintain reporting documentation
Coordinate commissioning activities,



FATs and site-based project requirements
Ensure project deadlines, quality outcomes and client expectations are achieved
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position, you will ideally possess:
Background in Electrical Engineering, Project Coordination or Project Engineering
Experience within electrical infrastructure, power systems, data centres, utilities, telecommunications or related industries
Understanding of UPS systems, batteries, switchgear, power distribution or critical power infrastructure
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to interpret technical drawings and project documentation
Experience coordinating contractors, suppliers and project teams
Strong organisational and project administration skills
Engineering qualification or relevant technical background highly regarded
