Not-for profit organisation seeking an experienced HR Generalist for a contract role.

Your new role
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the organisation across a broad range of HR activities. This is a true generalist position, offering variety and the opportunity to contribute to a people-focused environment during an exciting period of growth and change.Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing advice and support to managers and employees on HR matters
- Managing employee lifecycle activities including onboarding and offboarding
- Assisting with recruitment and workforce planning initiatives
- Supporting performance management and employee relations processes
- Maintaining employee records and HR systems
- Coordinating learning and development activities
- Assisting with policy development and compliance requirements




- Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience in a HR Generalist, HR Advisor or People & Culture role
- Sound knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to build effective working relationships across all levels
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience working within a highly regulated environment will be highly regarded
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline
