About the Agency
The Australian Digital Health Agency is seeking a proactive and creative Cyber Outreach and Awareness Officer to support the delivery of engaging cyber security education, awareness and outreach initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to influence positive cyber security behaviours across both internal and external audiences, helping strengthen cyber resilience and protect critical digital health services.
Reporting within the Cyber Security Branch, you will work closely with subject matter experts, learning and development teams, communications specialists and stakeholders to develop and deliver contemporary cyber awareness initiatives. You will help create engaging content, coordinate events and campaigns, maintain awareness resources, and evaluate the effectiveness of outreach activities
The key duties of the position include:
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinating cyber security awareness campaigns and engagement activities, including Cyber Awareness Month initiatives and phishing simulation programs.
• Delivering cyber security webinars, presentations and awareness sessions for internal and external audiences.
• Supporting new starter security induction programs and learning activities.
• Developing and maintaining cyber security learning resources, eLearning content and awareness materials.
• Creating engaging educational content including videos, digital resources and micro-learning products.
• Maintaining cyber awareness content across intranet and public-facing platforms.
• Supporting outreach activities with external stakeholders and industry groups.
• Monitoring campaign effectiveness and analysing participation, engagement and feedback data to drive continuous improvement.
About you
• Strong written, verbal and digital communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.
• Experience developing or delivering awareness, engagement, education or communication programs.
• Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Well-developed organisation and planning skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience using tools such as Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Suite, Confluence or similar digital collaboration platforms.
• Qualifications, training or practical experience in cyber security, communications, education, behavioural change, digital engagement or a related field.

Eligibility
Australian citizenship is mandatory. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a national police clearance and the required security clearance, with the ability to attain a higher-level clearance if needed.

Salary: $90,562 - $97,939 plus 15.4% superannuation, depending on skills and experience.
