The Senior Manager, Stakeholder Engagement and Public Education, leads the Council's national engagement, education and communications program. The position develops and implements strategies that build understanding of National Competition Policy, strengthen relationships with

governments and key stakeholders, and promote informed, evidence-based discussion on competition reform while maintaining the Council's independence.

The key duties of the position include:

The Senior Manager, Stakeholder Engagement and Public Education, leads the Council's national engagement, education and communications program.

As the Senior Manager, you will:

- Develop and implement the Council's stakeholder engagement strategy under the Intergovernmental and Federation Funding Agreements.
- Lead public education and advocacy on competition and productivity-enhancing reform.
- Prepare communication strategies, educational materials, web content, speeches, publications and digital content.
- Coordinate public consultation for reviews, annual assessments and other Council work.

- Demonstrated experience leading a team or similar role in a quick-paced and large complex people-centred organisation.
- Demonstrated experience leading stakeholder engagement, communications or public policy programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to develop strategic engagement and communication plans.
- Experience managing relationships with senior government, industry and community stakeholders.
- Sound judgement and ability to communicate complex policy issues clearly.
- Experience working in a Commonwealth, State or Territory policy environment is highly regarded.
