We are seeking an experienced, organised and solutions-focused Business Manager to join our school team.
This is a diverse and rewarding role for someone who thrives in a busy school environment, enjoys solving problems, and can confidently manage competing priorities across finance, human resources, administration, facilities and resources.

This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.34FTE), 25 hours per fortnight.

Our wind instrumental music program is available to students' year 4 and above, with students from Prep to year 3 accessing instrumental and percussion lessons through a specific designed program.

Your opportunity:
As the Business Manager you will be responsible for the effective and efficient administrative management of the school by providing corporate services and administrative support to the Principal.
You will work within well-defined guidelines to provide advice and offer solutions to key stakeholders (external and internal) on business related problems (e.g. human resources, finance and facilities management), and have responsibility for autonomously delivering on priorities, seeking expert advice, adapting processes, problem solving and providing solutions according to clear outcomes, with regular guidance by the Principal.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily school administration, records, correspondence and OneSchool.
- Supervise support staff, including rosters, leave, recruitment and training.
- Assist with budgeting, finances, banking and reconciliations.
- Manage school assets, facilities, maintenance and technology.
- Prepare reports, minutes, policies, newsletters and other documents.
- Manage competing priorities and solve day-to-day problems.
- Communicate effectively with staff, parents, students and the community.
- Ensure school operations meet policy, compliance and legislative requirements.
