Are you an experienced administration professional who thrives on keeping teams, systems and services running smoothly? An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Administration Officer to join the Building, Engineering & Maintenance Services (BEMS) team supporting Community and Oral Health and Mental Health.
About the role
In this varied senior role, you'll provide high-level administrative support to the BEMS management team while coordinating day-to-day administrative services and supervising the administration workgroup. You'll work closely with maintenance teams, contractors, facility representatives and other stakeholders to support the effective delivery of essential maintenance services across our facilities.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Supervise, mentor, and roster the BEMS COH & MH administration team and resolve administrative issues in line with organisational guidelines, while providing HR support across both Organisational Units, including leave management in SAP myHR, the Leave Register, onboarding, separations, and monitoring of mandatory training.
- Proactively identify, implement, measure and report on quality improvement opportunities across the BEMS department, promoting best practice structures and processes that support optimal patient care and health service outcomes.
- Coordinate the department's administrative services, including maintaining and auditing the BEMS electronic filing structure in line with Queensland Government recordkeeping requirements,
preparing documents such as Service Agreements, Memorandums, Guidelines and Local Procedures, and coordinating meetings, agendas, minutes, and action registers.
- Act as System Administrator for SAP S/4HANA, Decision Support System (DSS), myHR, Riskman, Training Management System (TMS), ChemAlert, iLearn, ExpenseMe PRO and Microsoft Office, organising systems access, staff training, and local procedural guidelines.
