About the role:
We are looking for a hands-on, physically fit (lifting capability>25kgs) experienced MR Truck Driver to join our team.
Role & Responsibilities:
· Perform loading and unloading of packaged waste
· Multi stop collections across Brisbane, Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast
· Practice safe and correct manual handling
· Operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with company regulations
· Ensure presentation of vehicle, inside and out is of a high standard
· Confirm all service dockets are signed, photos taken and you correctly present all documentation to the client & then to the operations team (daily requirement)
Your skills and experience
We are looking for a well presented, high energy, hands-on individual with a clean driving record and excellent time management, attention to detail (completion of job ticket information) & customer service skills.
Candidates must have valid Australian work authorisation to be eligible for this position.
- Must have at least 2yrs experience as a MR Driver and a valid MR Licence – desirable HR truck licence
- Must be over 25yrs - due to insurances
- ***MUST BE Physically fit (lifting capability>25kgs)***
- Be computer savvy, we use an iPad for our job tickets - attention to detail a must.
- Be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Gold Coast & Brisbane roads
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong time management skills and MUST BE reliable
- Be committed in achieving high standards of compliance and customer service
- Comfortable in a customer-facing role; excellent communication
- Knowledge of handling and packaging requirements for Hazardous Packaged Waste and Dangerous Goods - desirable
- Police Check clearance
